The program, awaiting the signature of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, will take effect immediately. Additionally, incentives are provided for reservists in tenders for home construction and long-term rentals, with discounts up to 20% off market prices. This initiative aims to acknowledge the reservists' contribution to national security by offering them increased housing opportunities. The program was developed based on recommendations from an inter-ministerial committee, and it also plans measures to extend these benefits to other regions in Israel.
