In a lawsuit involving 138 winners of the 'Price for Residents' program in Rishon LeZion, a development company claimed an additional 3.6 million shekels due to a miscalculation between the tender they won and the sales contracts signed. However, the Lod District Court ruled that the contracts signed by the buyers are binding. Judge Halit Silash dismissed most of the demands for additional payment, stating that the tender's terms cannot be altered to offset the developer's mistakes. The developer should have adhered to the apartment sizes specified in the tender and not deviated from them. Building larger apartments than planned should not come at the buyers' expense.
