Assaf Rappaport, founder of the cybersecurity company Waze, has purchased an 8-dunam property in Rishpon for 40 million shekels. The property includes two old houses that can be demolished to build two new homes with a swimming pool. Rappaport, who sold Waze to Google for $32 billion, divides his time between Tel Aviv and New York. He is also active in initiatives opposing political changes in Israel. Rishpon is one of Israel's most expensive villages, located in the Hof HaSharon Regional Council. This acquisition is part of a series of real estate investments by Waze founders, including Ami Luttwak, who recently bought land in Binyamina.
